Head Phones Exploded In A Woman's Face During A Flight, Panic Ensued At The Plane

This is a recent shocking incident happened in the midair between Beijing, China and Melbourne Australia. There are many undisclosed information regarding this recent incident probably for coverups and safety issues. The woman is unnamed and the airline where the plane came from was isn't told by ATSB. There are speculations that the headphones might be Chinese made.

The woman appears to be Caucasian and there is a high chance that she is Australian because the plane came from Beijing China and landed at Melbourne Australia. Mainstream media outlets such as Huffington Post reported the recent incident. 

Australian Transport Safety Bureau interviewed the woman and she said this shocking statement she narrated what happened next after she woke up in the middle of the flight(she wore hear headphones while asleep):

“As I went to turn around I felt burning on my face,” she said. “I just grabbed my face, which caused the headphones to go around my neck. I continued to feel burning so I grabbed them off and threw them on the floor. They were sparking and had small amounts of fire.”

Passengers helped to extinguish the fire so that it will not cause more damage to the plane that might lead to a larger fire. The melted battery and headphone later solidified at the airplane floor, the passengers were horrified because of the incident.

They have speculated that the woman may have bought these headphones in China and the exploded headphone might be Chinese made and is substandard or lacks quality control. International travel safety experts warned passengers not to bring substandard or challenged gadgets in the plane to avoid accidents or worse, tragic plane crashes.
